Casio G’zOne Ravine 2 Rugged Flip Phone
Verizon Wireless recently launched part 2 of the Casio G’zOne Ravine Rugged Flip Phone which is known as the G’zOne Ravine 2. The Ravine 2 was designed specially to withstand the beatings that the normal flip phone can’t handle which makes it ideal for adventure and outdoor enthusiasts. The Ravine 2 meets military specifications for immersion, water, shock and dust resistant, vibration, salt fog, humidity, solar radiation, altitude as well as low and high temperature storage.
Specs-wise it comes equipped with a 1.38-inch external color display for call screening purposes, it also has a much larger internal display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and video recording capabilities. It supports Verizon’s Push To Talk service, its global ready and ready to be used in over 200 countries worldwide. The Ravine 2 also comes bundled with some of Casio’s G’zGear software that has seven modes to help outdoors such as its Earth Compass, Walking Counter, Astro Calendar, Tide chart, Thermometer, Sunrise/Sunset chart, and Star Gaze chart. The Casio G’zOne Ravine 2 is presently available from the carrier for the price of $149.99 after a rebate and a new two-year contrast.
